Hello, i just got my MSI laptop and i directly started installing windows 7 into it, at finalizing stage an error popped up saying " Windows cannot be configured to run on this computer's hardware" something like that..

after a bit of searching, its related to RAID mode

So now i switched to AHCI in Bios it was RAID before.
I want to know if RAID is faster then AHCI or helpful in someway? im installing windows right now on AHCI mode and i have single 750gb HDD.

    Any recommendations?

No point in using RAID with a single drive. AHCI is fine.
