    What gives you the idea that it will only work with a 'compatible hdd'?

    This will work for SSD's too.

    im kinda wary of changing hdd's cause the last time i did it, it didnt work, but of course i didnt do it that way.
    but good to know it works.

    Well, now that you know that an SSD is a compatible hdd, just know that the best one to put in so you have the least problems down the road is the Intel SSD's - with the G2 160GB version being the best for workstation/notebook users.

    yeah i heard the intel ssd's are great.
    ill wait till may/jun though as maybe by then prices will drop and storage space will increase..
