    hey guys,

I recently ordered a X60s thinkpad laptop, and am currently shopping for a slim external optical dvd drive. I am mainly looking for something light so I can carry it with my x60s and also something without powercord (power through usb 2.0). DVD-RW or CD-RW is not necessary, and cheaper the merrier. I would appreciate your recommendation. Thanks!

The Samsung SE-T084 claims to use USB power although it is also supplied with an AC adaptor. I expect that it needs 2 USB ports to get enough power and/or I wonder whether the speed is reduced when running on USB power.
