    small tool to check your trim is active

    I found this small app, it creates a dos box, it first creates a file then deletes it, then the app stops, you wait 20 seconds or more then run it again the second time it check to see if trim has overwritten the delete file with zero`s or whatever if it has your trim is working.

    I know a few apps like crystaldiskinfo will show the trim status of your ssd, but this app actually confirms it, and you can see it is working.

    EDIT : the file is clean according to the virus total website.

    We need to start a thread, with list of generic apps for ssd`s i know they dont really need any, but i like to mess about a bit. :)

    SDD tweaker or sddlife or CrystalDiskInfo, or CrystalDiskMark
