    Hi everyone.

I got luck - found the lcd for my old vaio vgn-sz1xrp/c, but remembered that the battery was not in the best condition that days and now it's totally spoiled, so i've decided to buy new one, it was a great surprise when I've found this - Discount SONY VAIO VGN-SZ Battery For Sale @ Replacement Battery for SONY VAIO VGN-SZ Series

It seems that this battery is compatible with my vaio but nobody has answered me about such compatibility, moreover I've found such batteries on ebay but there is no sz series model listed there.

Maybe someone has also tried such batteries? Or maybe somebody knows something about them?

Also there is a tip there on ebay, that i should install some drivers for this battery and updating bios is prohibitted - how it could be? Does it mean without drivers this battery will not work ? I've always thought that battery is not such a clever hardware part that the drivers are needed for it to work.

Seems it's not compatible with my sz1, for my laptop there is ( Battery for Sony VAIO VGP-BPL2 VGP-BPS2A 8800mAh 12cell - eBay (item 230575032188 end time Jul-16-11 01:58:25 PDT) everything is ok with compatibility.

The only wrong thing - it's not an original battery. Does anybody have vaio with not original batteries? What can you tell about them (i mean batteries)?

And can somebody tell me is there any difference in work-on-battery-time between chineese not original batteries and genuine, for example I have to decide what to buy 8800mah from china or original 7800mah, which one will live longer?
