I usually put them up on Craigslist or give it to a friend who needs it.

I have saved all of mine. It comes in handy when you cross paths with older laptops because you can double the memory in them for free.

I keep them at least for a short period to make sure the new memory is stable. Afterwards, it's up to you whether you want to keep it, sell it or give to a friend who has a use for it.

I'm saving them, for later use. As now, I'm bulding up my ThinkPad WHS, my 4GB sticks come to use.

Well, I have mine saved in the event my memory goes bad, I'll have something to fall on until I get some replacement memory in.

if your laptop is under warranty, save them. If you need warranty work done, put the stock sticks back in.

    OR ELSE sell them :D
