    new to ssd and have read that you shouldnt defrag a ssd.

    want to ask is it safe to use programs like ccleaner and clean my pc registry cleaner/

    ccleaner is perfectly safe, it's no different than deleting files manually.

    I use CCleaner - stay away from ANY registry cleaners though. Yeah, safe to use on an SSD.

    Just make sure you don't have any 'Wipe' options set - needlessly burns through your SSD's write cycles...
