    Hi guyz,

I read there is nothing better than SSD upgrade, as it gives boost to system responsiveness.

My hpHDX16 is getting old, but I want to put some freshness into it...

My HP has 12.7-mm tray load Serial ATA (SATA) optical drive. I want to get rid of this, and install SSD instead.

I found this: Add a 2nd HDD using the CD/DVD Optical Drive Bay : NewmodeUS, Hard Drive Caddys for Notebooks

And, I've few questions, I know you guyz are very knowledgeable on this subject.

    ...
    1. If i buy random hdd cady from ebay, will it work? or do I need to look for quality device?
    2. Which SSD is great value atm? I'm looking for something 60gbish. As I will be using 500gb sata normal drive as second hdd.
    3. Should I replace current HDD with SSD, and put old one in optical drive, or vice versa? any difference in performance?
    4. Do SSD run cooler? laptop is always warm at the location of hdd.
    5. Do I need to configure win7 in some special way?

    THANKS!
