    hi,
I am buying this notebook, thanks to all the people in this forum that lead me to that conclusion.
I wll be upgrading ram: 4 GB PC3-12800 DDR3 (1 DIMM) (so as to have a total of 8gb)
and will also be upgrading the hard drive to a SSD 256gb sata 3.
Where do you advise me to to buy and which brand for the ram and ssd. that are compatible with lenovo w530.

Anything will be compatible really as long as it's the right form factor. For the SSD, i'd recommend the Samsung 830 or Crucial M4, affordable and reliable.

For the RAM, wait until you get the notebook, confirm which RAM it is in terms of speed and latencies (probably gonna be 1333MHz CL9, but could be 1600MHz). once you know, ge RAM with the same clock and timings from whatever reputable brand is cheaper.
