The site rates my T2050 Proc Duo 1.60Ghz performance as 2.39Ghz

I thought it would be close to 3.00Ghz P4...

I have Go 7400 and 1GB of RAM is my processor really the bottleneck???

    thanks...

opps... spelled as lag in the title, can't edit that :)

he 2050 processor is pretty much a 1.6 533mhz dual core pentium m, and for that one you usually multiply it by 1.7 to get its p4 equivalent which means it should be ~2.7GHz. Dont worry about what the site rates ur cpu at, its all bs anyway. Games arent picky about cpus, and most modern ones are more then enough to run games. Sure u might be limited by ur cpu somewhat while gaming, but ur biggest limiting factor in game performace will be ur gpu and ram.

Raw gigahertz speed doesnt really matter as much as efficiency and processing power nowadays.

Your CPU will be no bottleneck in any game except maybe Flight Simualtor X.
