can someone fill me in on the differences between the three?
t2500 vs. t5500 (vs. t7200?)
-
T2500 = 2GHz dual core, 2MB cache, 32bit
T5500 = 1.66GHz dual core, 2MB cache, 64bit
T7200 = 2GHz dual core, 4MB cache, 64bit -

The 64-bit CPUs are newer and have some internal improvements wheich make them a little (~10%) faster. In addition, the T7200 has more cache memory on the CPU which improves (~10%) general performance. If you are not a heavy computer user who is thinking about 64-bit operating systems then don't buy something just because it is 64-bit.
You can compare the T2500 and T7200 at Tom's Hardware. The T5500 will be the slowest of these three. Maybe 75% as fast as the T7200.

ok, so the asus w3j comes with the t2500 or t5500,
i should get the t2500 right? -

Is the T2500 version less expensive? There is usually some discount because it is an older CPU but I would expect it to actually run a little faster than the T2500.
