Hi guys, I lurk around your site whenever I'm considering buying a laptop. Pretty informative.

So I'm considering buying this lenovo r61 with the t9500 processor.
I plan to use this computer to do music on and don't want to buy another one anytime soon so I want one with a fast fsb (as well as processor and much ram of course.) As you can see in the link below the t9500 processor here is listed as having a 1066 fsb.

    http://shop.lenovo.com/SEUILibrary/...0012FF:&smid=2C0DD6431EBF4639862FE7BD0F7A5A90

I was about to pick this up, but looking around the net it seems everywhere else the t9500 is 800 fsb. So I'm having second thoughts. Can anyone confirm if this is real for me? (Sales and tech support have been unable to answer my question in any concrete way of course! (sigh, big corporations..))

    Your thoughts would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

ps-oopps sorry about typo in thread title

Hmm, that's kind of funky, considering all the RAM options are still only 667Mhz FSB. I'd say it's a typo in their configurator.
The T9500 only has an 800Mhz FSB.

I think it's suppose to be the P9500.

But then again, I don't know.

But if it was indeed montevina, they should be offering faster RAM I would think.
I think it's just a typo on their part.

It's a typo. It can't be a P9500 as the P chips don't work on the same socket as the T9500/T9300/T8300/T8100.
