I am using WinXP and mainly playing DX9c+PhyX games
(Startcraft2 , Crysis2 , Naild ,Batman-akm)
I am going to buy a Sandybrige laptop , may be the MSI-GT780 or the ASUS G74 ,both of them integrated with a GTX560M graphic card
We know the GTX560M is supposed to be a renamed GTX 460M
and I found the GTX460M/560M is no faster than GTX260M in the 3DMark06
(while playing DX9c games)
so I confused much about the performance improvement
even the downgrade
comparing with the G92M and the GF106 card
how about the performance after the limited overclocking???![]()

something wrong with the clocks on the 460m, per notebook check default should be 675g 1350s 1250m. Thier non oc'd 3dmark06 average is 13,196. Also that OC on the 260 is way high, while I might be able too bench at that there is no way I would run it sustained on a 260m (at least not on mine, it would be pushing it too hard).
Also maybe a custom bios too on the 260m, check the GPUz it list the default clocks that high too meaning it may be overvolted etc to achieve that.................. -
Wow, how did you get the E8335 to 3.7+ GHz at stock voltage?
the GTX460M/560M is no faster than GTX260M while playing DX9c games ?
