This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I read the article a while back. It looks very promising, but I doubt it will be due for release before 2010.

    Sounds good and someday something like this will happen, maybe sooner not later. A word of caution, remember the flaming laptops? Well w/10fold it could be a bomb so I would not want to be the first to own.

    i wasn't too concerned with release date. the reality is the sooner somebody starts selling the mooooooooooore expensive it would be. later would help the price some. i don't how much when i say "some" but it could be the difference between super hype and $500 batteries now, or $150 later. either way, i know alot of peeps would really enjoy having a 2 day battery. my laptop sits in one spot 98% of the time, but i bet it would go down to 90% of the time if batteries put out 2 days of charge. i bet lan parties would be insane with laptops. one reason being you wouldn't be running up your "friends" electric bill. "charge your battery b4 u come over or i'll charge for the wattage."
