Hi guys, mate of mine just bought the above mentioned lappy and has it stuck in sleep mode.... There's prob a key combo to get it out? maybe some macro or hot key or something?

I've never owned a Toshiba so don't know how to help. Don't have the laptop handy so can't troubleshoot here right now.

If anyone has a clue, or a link to the instruction manual that'd be wicked.

    Cheers,

    Scrampy :D

btw, the new Sager is WICKED! haha

Just hold the power button down until it turns off. Usually between 5 and 10 seconds. If it wont, then yank the battery. Certain programs and/or drivers tend to cause sleep to stick once in a while.

Thanks very much Dook, I was just thinking that was an alternative if we can't find the key combo or something. I'll have him read the instructions too! hehe

    Much appreciated.

No problem. There is a Fn key combo to release from sleep mode(Fn and Fsomething..should be printed on the key), but usually just hitting the power button takes care of it. If it doesnt, then you'll have to resort to what I suggested above. :)

yeah man, that's cool. We'll sort it out. It's funny actually, he came to me here at work (games retail shop) and said "hey, I'm on my break, and I just got this cool laptop..." (we talked about cool laptops for a bit) "oh... hey... got any idea how to get it out of sleep mode?" (I tried not to laugh hehe)

But your advice will certainly do the trick... I'll check the keyboard for the key combo too.

    Cheers,
