this doesn't exactly fit in this sub forum, but I was wondering, how many new notebooks still use the traditional keyboard? Almost every new laptop I've looked at has a chiclet/island type.

Pretty much the only remaining traditional keyboards left in the notebook marketplace are the "current" (as in Sandy Bridge) Thinkpad T series, X220/T, and W520. Everyone else jumped on the island-style bandwagon :(.

The new NP9150/9170 Sager/Clevo laptops have the traditional keyboards.

Yeh the M11x uses a "traditional" keyboard, but the M14x onwards has these weird spacing between the keys which tbh makes them quite annoying to use.
