    Hi all

    Can anyone please tell me if the processor can be upgraded to a core duo or anything better than the one installed?

    travelmate 2400 celeron m 1.5ghz 370

    The Core series upgrade is not possible. However, you should be able to upgrade to a Dothan or a banias Pentium M depending on bios and chipset support.

    EDIT: From Acer press release located here the system ships with the 910GML chipset and according to Intel it only supports the Celeron M's.

    However, it may still support the 400Mhz Pentium M's. Check the web to see if anyone has done a similar upgrade.

    I havent had any luck finding anything like you said intel says it is only celerons so im thinking im stuffed.

    If anyone know better please let me know.
