    Hi,

I bought 1 GB of patriot (PSD1G33316S) laptop memory. According to their homepage, it's the right one for my toshiba (m30x series).

Laptop boots properly and shows the right amount of memory. However, memtest fails with meny errors. These errors are not random, they apear in groups of 1024, in second half of memory.

There is no way to change memory timings (at least to my knowledge), as this laptop has ****py toshiba customized phoenix bios. Timings _should_ be the same as in previous memory, both are PC2700, CL2.5.

    Any ideas?

    thx,
    Igor
