    can anyone give me the upgrade options for this computer for the following g72-b66us

    harddrive capacity supported?

    number of harddrives?

    is the graphics intergrated or descrete?

    also for the following laptop as well

    I believe you could possibly upgrade the cpu on the G72 to either an i5 or an i7. The motherboard uses Intel HM55 chipset and according to pictures of the mother board it is socketed.

    HP sold this laptop with up to a 750 gb HDD but don't see why you couldn't put in a 1TB in there. I think there is only space for 1 HDD, unless you could remove the optical an use it as another HD bay.

    The only graphics I have seen for this laptop is the integrated graphics on the CPU so not upgradeable

    Max. ram is 8gb

    The Dell I17R-2950MRB should be same upgrade options. It uses the Intel HM57 express chipset and it should be socket PGA988 and also has integrated graphics.
