    thinking of getting a satellite m55. i can only get the one with integrated graphics at the moment (cant get the model with the ati x600se). seeing as it it has a pci express slot which the x600se fits in, can i add the card later?

    No, since if it already has integrated graphics there wont be any slot for the graphics card. The spec sheet at Toshiba does not mention any free PCI-e slot.

    No, it is impossible to upgrade your card, I concur with miner.

    The video card that you get in the notebook is what you're going to have to stick with.
