i currently have a sony sz320cp with a nvidia7400 128mb graphics card, but i'm planning to pull a nvidia7400 with 335mb from a sony sz460 and would like to install it in my 320. i'm assuming this is possible, but i've never done this before and would like suggestions/tips on how to prevent any damage to the laptops, and maybe a guide on the actual process. thanks

You should check out the sticky in the gpu section of this forum. This question is asked every day, and there is but 1 answer...which can be found in the aforementioned sticky...

I was under the impression that the Go7400 only came in 64mb and 128mb flavors. Even with TurboCache, I thought the max was 256mb.

It is not possible.

Where do people get the silly idea that Graphics cards can be upgrade and why do they keep asking it even though there is a sticky say NO.

it's the same card. just upgrade your bios to the newest to utilize the 355mb on your 7400.
