    hi all,i have a vostro 1700 series.it came with an nvidia 8600 m gt 256.i wanted to upgrade to 512 8600 gt or 512 8700 gt.is this possible and if so.who sells thses video cards? thanks for any help. :confused:

    In any case, I don't htink vostro 1710 has MXM even if you meant M, so it's not gonna happen. Also, 8600M and 8700M GT 512 performs same as 256...
