    upgrading hp pavilion laptop hard drive

    Hey guys, I have been doing some research about hard drives and I think I have found the right replacement but I am not 100% sure. That is why I am posting here to ask few questions to see if I have found the right replacement.

    Old hard drive

    model: hts543225l9a300

    New hard drive

    I have also a concern with the hard drive. If you look at the picture below you see that my hard drive don’t have the 4 pins that other hard drive has and my plug don’t support them too as you can see in the second picture.

    Any SATA drive will work in your laptop. The last 4 pins are not necessary for your drive to work. I got the same WD SB.
