    upgrading my acer predator 17x display

    my display is currently is LGD0469 and i want to upgrade it to the new one of the acer helios 500 the 144hz ips panel model: AUO_B173HAN03

    so what i would like to know is it possible or not ? im not really an expert but if someone did try it or have any idea it is much appreciated , the thing is i researched about the LGD0469 i couldnt find any info if its 30pin or 40pin and also in every site it says the model is LGD056D i dont know why mine has another display and also currently has issues with enabling g-sync.

    Is your display 1080p? If it is, it will use a 30 pin eDP connector and 144 Hz screens will not work as they require a 40 pin connector. 120 Hz screens will work just fine though with a 30 pin connector.
