hi i am thinking about upgrading to a 16gb samsung ssd ( i am not worried about write cycles now as someone from samsung said that 'each' cell in the ssd could be written to 100,000 times). I have an asus s6f. I'm just wondering whether my laptop bios will support the ssd, and also if it can, then what can i do to prolong the ssd's life (just in case lol). If anyone thinks an ssd is unadvisable what pata hard drive would you suggest (i'm looking for the fastest possible hard drive.)
    Thanks
    :)
