I have had my e1505 for about a month and a half now and I am begining to get my old hunger for more power. I currently have 1GB dual channel at 533MHz. I want to get 2GB dual channel. Is there any benefit to getting the 677MHz over the 533? Where can I get some relatively inexpensive but quality performing ram? How much should I expect to pay? Are there any brands recomended? I hear corsair and crucial are good. I could always go with some of the brands I have used before like knigston and pny.

Thanks in advance to all that reply and I look forward to your post.

Notebook ram is unusually expensive right now. Im holding out until the prices on newegg drop back down again. 667 is basically the same as 533 unless you use the 667 ram has a cas latentcy of 4 (which I have only seen on alienware's website). Just find a good deal on corsair, mushkin, or trancend (fill in other trusted brands) and get em. Try to pay 150 or so for the pair, but it'll be hard right now.
