    I need a little help! Is possible to upgrade the usb ports to usb2 on a compaq
    presario 2135 us?

    as far as I l know that is a hardware issue so you cannot make a usb 1.1 to usb 2.0 however you can get a pcmci card for usb 2.0

    You realize that the motherboard controls the USB ports, so if it only supports 1.1 speeds then you need to replace the whole thing. Plus, USB ports are soldered on the motherboard, so you would have to somehow remove those and solder new ones on (if their supported).

    Your best bet is a pcmcia card with 4 USB 2.0 ports like trooper said.
