    Hey,

    SO
this is what i want to do... i want to use the lcd on my notebook as a monitor to play my xbox 360 on. I pretty sure i'd have to use the Xbox 360™ VGA HD AV Cable http://www.xbox.com/en-US/hardware/x/xbox360vgahdcable/

but is it even possible? Idk if the VGA port on my notebook it VGA in/out or just vga out or just vga in

and if it does works, how would i get the audio working?

sorry im kinda clueless with this but i guess thats why im asking you guys haha :D

    thanks for everything :)

You'd have to get something like a usb tv tuner to get the desired effects you want.

Notebooks only have VGA out not in
Those wires are for a tv for higher quality than composites.
