    hello

    i have a hp dv5 1135ee laptop
for some reason when utorrent is open the temp goes so high
when im not using my zalman nc2000 when outside the temp goes to 79 even if utorrent is downloading since uni doesent allow torrents
anyways as soon as i turn it off the temmp of hardisk goes down to normal like 55-60C
so anyone know why this could be happening

    55-60 c is still high

any way it gets hotter because it is acessing/writeing to your HD

In your first post, are you saying that your hard drive gets up to 79C? Are you sure it's not your GPU or CPU?

Your hard drive should definitely stay below 60C as any higher threatens the integrity of the data on your hard drive, as is is out of spec with the manufacturer's environmental specifications.

Maybe it has something to do with your downloads, if the CPU usage goes up same goes for your system temperature. Try checking out if your CPU's cooling system are all in good shape...
