No Mike he means how much faster is the 8700m GTS vs the 8700m GTS, so give him the info! They basically test out the same. Sure synthetic benchmarks so not real world. I suspect the 8700m GTS will beat out the 8700m GTS in real world performance.

On a serious note I have not heard of an 8700m GTS. So if you mean an 8700 vs 8800m GTS it will walk all over it, dare I say almost double. At least in enjoyment. Don't even think of touching the GTX, destroys all!

nope i mean 8700 GTs. appearently there is one because im looking at getting a laptop that has one, i was kinda surprized when i saw it to

i think it may just be an OCed version on the 8700M GT, and the computer company that appearently can get them is dell. i even have it printed out in a price quote

my price quote has personal information and i really dont feel like going through the trouble of hooking up my scanner, scanning, editing out my personal information and then you probley just telling me that i edited the file and its probley all fake. if you dont know what the card is why are you even posting spam. im trying to look for a nice laptop here that will play all the games i have right now in high res and do every thing i want and your just being a freaken SPAMMER (probley why you have so many posts in such a short time ;) )

wolf thank you for not posting a totaly sarcastic post such as some above. and i know nvidias site does not list it, ive been trying all night to find this GPU.

it is a dell XPS gaming laptop im looking at, right now the only thing the site said that it offered for a GPU was SLI 8700m GT video cards and since i used SLI back in the day i have never really been a huge fan and this laptop is supposed to be like my baby when i finaly get it, ive been looking around at different laptops for the last month trying to find JUST the right one for me. any way getting off track now. i went to this dell store in the mall around where i live and i asked if there was any video cards that are not listed on there site for the XPS gaming laptop and there where 2 options besides what the site said, i could go with a 8800M GTX or a 8700M GTS with 256mb ram (dont like the small ram sizes but it fit the budget). so dell appearently says there is a 8700m GTS or has REALLY REALLY badly messed up there system.

any help on figuring this out would be great :)

    That's really unusual, that 256MB 8700M GTS.

I'd venture to say it was an error on Dell's part. Dell's reps aren't known for giving accurate information, so I wouldn't be surprised if one of 'em couldn't distinguish an 8700M GT from god knows what else.

Bring back that price quote and tell 'em Nvidia said there's no such thing. See what they say.
