in all reviews i see the term flex used. i have understood this as flexibility of the chasis (correct me if i am wrong). in that sense what does keyboard flex mean. are keyboads supposed to bend when we press a key too hard. How is it found out ??? thanx in advance ??

You can feel "keyboard flex" by pushing down on keys. If the surface under the keys flexes when you push down, that is undesirable. Only the keys should depress.

I think that this is really just personal preference, and a really dated and incorrect way of grading notebook build quality. Keyboard flex is pretty much designed to dampen the force from excessive keyboard use, much like ergonomic keyboards for desktops. Some notebooks have more flex than others and I don't think it necessarily means poor build quality.
what do u mean by keyboard flex ?
