    I'm looking into getting one. However, bunch of mixed reviews is what I find.

    so what card do you use and how is it working ?

    SIIG eSATA II ExpressCard/54 - works well, my only gripe is that eSATA doesn't fasten tightly unlike USB (but that's not really the fault of the card). I didn't want to get a 34mm card and didn't need the higher end version w/ RAID, so I chose this card. Was pretty pricey from what I remember, at least $50 for 2x eSATA ports (I wish my laptop just came with them!).
