    hi,
    recently i noticed a black spot in my lcd, when i rubbed my fingure upon it, it came to the middle of the screen by sliding.
    what is it?
    is it a dust?
    how can i remove this ?

    I think that the people will need a picture of this.

    Shouldn't it just come off on your finger?

    I think it is dust.
    eventually it will slide all the way down and you wont see it.

    I would leave it alone and wait it out.

    i have tried to scratch it but it seems to be inside the lcd. i can see it even when the laptop is switched off.
    please sujjest me a remendy :(

    I have seen another thread about this.

    The user sent the notebook to have the dust removed and it came back with more dust.

    Don't swing your laptop back and forth to make it go down or to a sid, thats what I tried with my hp pritner too rofl (had a piece of white isolation underneeth the scanning glass so). Take it back to the store, if you shake too hard and something wil break of they will give you a lot more trouble.

    I know exactly what you are talking about. I had the same on my E1505. There is a fix, and you can get it to move.
    So here it it.
    Shut your laptop off
    have the screen open perpendicular to the keyboard. You know like how you normally use it.
    Wack the top of the lid above where the spec is.
    I got mine to move with three blows. It is now under the start button, you cant even see it.

    Good luck,
    on close appearance it appears not to be dust, but dandruff inside the LCD film. Probably from the factory
