i have no clue what turbomemory is, i see it as an option in some notebooks but i dont know what it is, and is it worth the price?

Intel Turbo Memory is a feature in some notebooks with Intel processors, that allows performance increases using features included in Windows Vista. It moves frequently accessed data like programs, etc. into flash memory so they start faster than they would if the system had to access the hard drive.

Turbo Memory is meant to accelerate booting and application loading and to increase battery life when using Vista. It uses Vista's ReadyBoost and ReadyDrive features.
