hey all! thanks in advance for helping me with this question. hopefully it'll help others too :)

i have an acer aspire 5570z laptop...i've upgraded my ram to 2gb of DDR and i'd love to upgrade the videocard in my laptop, but after looking into it, i'm still clueless!

all i really want is to be able to play reasonably simple games on my laptop (e.g. lego star-wars, battlefield heroes coming soon!), but the stock videocard in the 5570z doesnt support 'pixel-shading' or something along those lines

if someone in the computer business could plz help me out with this with maybe just a list of videocards that are definitely compatible with the 5570z, because i've read that some laptops don't support videocard upgrades (and the 5570z is quite a basic laptop, i think)

    thanks again for your help!

You cannot upgrade the graphics card in your acer laptop.
You can download the newest drivers for your graphics card from laptopvideo2go, but that is about all you can do.
You can overclock your graphics card, but I advise against doing that, since overclocking can destroy your graphics card.

the Intel GMA 950 cannot be upgraded, it is physically connected to your motherboard.

You can upgrade the processor and memory if you so desire, just tell us the specs and we can determine what you can upgrade to.
