what hardware/software would i need to hook my b130 dell up to the tell i have the option of av or rfu or both as far as tvs i'd prefer to be able to use if possible.

What ports does your TV have? Your laptop has a VGA port, so if your TV also has a VGA port then you can just get a VGA male to male cable. Otherwise you might need a converter.
Software wise, just make sure your laptop has some graphics drivers. -
If it the tv doesn't have VGA port then you can go s-video. Most laptops have an s-video port and a heaphone jack. To go this route all you need is a s-video to RCAvideo(the yellow connector) cable and a single to two channel converter cable(the red and white connector). Plug the s-video cable into the RCA video port on the TV and the single to two cable into the left and right sound RCA ports on the TV. Plug the s-video end of the cable into the s-video port on the laptop and the single channel end of the cable into the headphone jack.

Omega drivers can have issues with this so if it doesn't work try official ones if you're on omega.
