    Hi, i was thinking about buying/building a decent desktop for gaming and was wondering about good old AMD and what their answer to i7 was.

    Probably the Magny Cours series. Problem is that this isn't a question to be asking in a notebook forum. Why not try the sister desktopreview.com site?
