    when battery is unplugged - what to do

    For those of you who take out the battery for storing or whatever whenever using A/C adapter to not wate any battery charging cycles and what not, what do you do with the open space? Aren't any of you afriad of messing anything up there (ie connections) or gets dusty and dirty?
