i need help please
what about the front cahe i know AMD has less cahe than intel, would it be slower?
-
technically it would be slower but in real life use you will not notice a difference.

What kind of task are you going to do on the laptop? If its pretty basic things like surfing, office, ect then go with the AMD. But if its really demanding task that will likely push the CPU then get the T7200

I vote for the 1.66GHz or the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo T7200 (2.00GHz, 4MB L2 Cache, 667MHz FSB). The 1.83 GHz processor is stupid.

It all depends on what you're planning to do with the notebook. If you're a media guru that is doing a lot of encoding, decoding, transcoding...or a student who is using MATLAB, 3dsMAX, Maya, etc...or someone who wants to watch HDTV, you'll want the faster processors out there because they will make a difference...those would be the Core 2 series.
General usage, email, work, WMP11, iTunes, word, internet surfing...just get any dual core processor. AMD X2's are great for this has they have a good price advantage here for the lower amount of power you need.
Gamers, you need to focus on the GPU. Get a dual core, and preferably a Core 2, but the GPU is what matters. A more powerful GPU + AMD X2 will outperform a significantly less powerful GPU paired with a Core 2. -
Awesome laptops Notebook Evangelist
i reckon the t7200 intel core 2 duo is best performance for dollar
-
for 40$ get the faster one, extra 2mb of cache is worth it
-
i think i will go with the AMD, cus there is a big $$$$$ diff for intel and AMD.
Please see my new post for video card too
