Merry Christmas to you too!
I have always preferred Vantec Enclosures - although a little more expensive, I feel my data is worth it and with over 100 different models bought over the last few years I haven't had a failure with any of them.
See:
Vantec ? NexStar 3 SuperSpeed - NST-280SU3-BK- 2.5'' SATA to USB 3.0 & eSATA External Hard Drive Enclosure (Onyx Black)
Good luck. -
Thanks for your suggestion.
I also value my data.
It took me years to build my photography and vid's of challenging procedures which we carried out.
I for some weird reason, never liked vantec designs.
How you rate accomdata in comparison to vantec?
Thanks. -
hello,
here are two choices .
1) accomdata 27.99
Amazon.com: AcomData Tango SuperSpeed USB 3.0 2.5-Inch SATA Hard Drive Enclosure TNGPXXXU3E (Black): Electronics
2) silverstone 22 usd
Amazon.com: SilverStone 5Gbits USB 3.0 Super Speed Enclosure for 2.5-Inch SATA SSD/HDD TS04B (Black): Electronics
both are amazon prime eligible.
which one to choose?
any enclosures with both ESATA and usb 3?
or shall i buy esata and get done as any mechanical HDD wont exceed 120-120mbps.
what to do? -

Lol... The design of a product never got in the way of me evaluating how it actually performed for me.
I could see myself trying those enclosures if I had a reason to abandon Vantec, but never having tried them I can't vouch for them one way or the other at this point.
The link I provided does have both USB 3.0 and eSATA.
Those types of enclosures are the ones that I usually only buy - why? Because I am guaranteed to be able to transfer my data one way (USB3/2) or another (eSATA).
Buying an enclosure that was strictly eSATA has proven to be an exercise in frustration in the long run. -
Agree with you,
already ordered vantec.
thanks.
which USB 3 Enclosure
