    which battery Sony Laptop?

    My Sony laptop is not holding charge any more. Are aftermarket batteries any good? If so, which brand is best? My battery part number is VGP-BPS13/S.

    I wouldn't touch aftermarket batteries with a 20 thousand foot pole. See fried motherboards all the time where a 3rd party battery was somewhat involved. Buy an Sony OEM battery.

    mcVolt makes good batteries, you can buy it direct from them!

    But stay away from chinese sellers on ebay. Those batteries
    are made with used cells. When you get one of those batter,
    the wear level will be extremely high!!! Also they don't really
    honor any warranty!!!
    Trackable shipping back to china exceeds
    the price of the battery, so you take a big lost buying from china!!!
