i'm buying a new hdd for my notebook and could use a little help.
the old drive is:
fujitsu mht2080ah
Capacity: 80 GB
Connectivity: DMA/ATA-100 (Ultra)
Data Transfer Rate: 100 Mbps
Spindle Speed: 5,400 RPM
can i use one of the folloving to replace the old one?
2.5'' HDD 80GB HITACHI GST Travelstar 7K100
Tip: Serial ATA-150
Kapacitet: 80 GB
Brzina vrtnje: 7200 RPM
Cache: 8 MB
Size: 2.5"

how much speed am i going to gain with 7200 rpm? what is te difference between ATA-100 and ATA-150? can i put any of them in my notebook?

hmm no I think your drive is a IDE drive and the two you have mentioned are SATA (serial ATA). you need a IDE drive upgrade.

does that mean that i need a hdd with Parallel ATA interface?
something like this?
