    wifi and screen briteness not working

    i have installed full fresh setup of window 8 pro. in my hp envy 3017
    but now i cant sdjust my screen briteness, its not atall working,
    and wifi is showing disabled

    i have already updated the latest driver from hp website

    plzz help

    Did you do all the Windows updates as well? And was that laptop designed for Windows 8? If not, then you're in for a surprise when it comes to compatibility, I'm afraid.

    Check your Device Manager to see if there are any unknown devices, or to see if certain devices are not showing up [properly]. You may have downloaded the wrong driver, and if the HP site doesn't have drivers for Windows 8, then look into the manufacturer's sites for alternate downloads.

    Go to Windows Update and look for any chipset driver updates, if you find , install the update.
