    i have a dv4170 that came with mini pci wirelss b/g intel adapter, but i want to add internal bluetooth to use my ipaq and logitech headphones
    can someone point me to a mini pc adapter that has wifi and btooth in it so i dont lose wifi capability

    I am sorry, the only maker who makes that card is MSI and this card is only for MSI notebooks.

    how could i add bluetooth to my laptop then without losing wifi capability

    I am sorry, there is no way you can do with "built-in". Either USB or PC card/Express card.

    Actually I saw a mod that this person put a USB bluetooth inside of his notebook. However, its far difficult to do, at least my point of view.

    im looking for something that is completely flush with the side
    meaning it does not stick out at all

    Well, i am not an expert at bluetooth adapter but i suggest that you take a look at bluetooth compact flash and compact flash reader, such as this one.

    All I have seen is "the red pepper" project, he mounted a usb wireless mouse dongle inside his speaker area and soldered it to the usb port, rendiering the port useless. However you cant get wirelss and bluetooth on one usb dongle.
