    Ok, i am getting a brand new Samsung 470 series OEM SSD and was wondering if that product will carry samsung warranty??

    OEM as in just the SSD via OEM packaging off Newegg? If that is the case then yes, it will have a warranty through Samsung. OEM through a manufacturer? Then no, Samsung's records of that serial number will make it invalid for RMA to Samsung, you will have to deal with XX manufacturer you bought it from.

    It sounds like you might mean OEM packaging rather than the retail kit? If so, then yes, you still get a warranty. Otherwise, the post above covers the situation.

    Yeah OEM packaging, it is brand new and unopened. How do i check if the SSD has warranty??

    Type the serial number into the manufacturer's warranty issues/verification website.

    Should tell you when/if the product is under warranty currently and for how long.
