    The elitebook 8560p has an Intel i7-2720QM and I wish to run 2X8GB DDR3L 1866 sticks but will this works

    It looks like the max frequency is 1600, so that is probably what it will fall back too.

    it should work, ive run 2x8GB at 2133 Mhz with sandy bridge mobile cpus before :) of course, it all depends on the strength of the CPU IMC...

    Thanks for the answers guys, I'm banking on the CAS timings to drop , whether it be by auto or manual setting to gain some speed by undercooking it. lol . Just glad it doesn't come with RGB.
