I have a Toshiba A-105 Satellite laptop with an Intel Centrino cpu. Someone gave me a Dell Inspiron 1545 with an Intel Pentium processsor. Is it possible to swap them? I'll probably part out the Dell, it has a lot of problems. Thanks

You mind telling us which CPU model is in either laptop. Most likely they have different sockets, so CPUs would not be interchangeable.

Tsunade_Hime such bacon. wow
I would say look up the exactly Toshiba A105 SXXXX, as there are MANY different ones. Most Toshiba A105 I saw were Core Duo, which means Centrino Duo and Socket M, and incompatible with a 1545 (which is Penryn, socket P)

It has nothing to do with the brand of laptop as much as what kind of processor the specific model uses. With more detailed information on the Toshiba, it will be easy to tell.
