That's a desktop drive. You'd maybe want this Seagate instead. If it's too expensive, you could then settle for this WD instead. The latter is only 5400rpm. Former is 7200rpm.

AH! thanks for the heads-up. i don't know anything about hard drives, i had it in my cart, ready to buy.
the main reason for upgrading is to get the 7200rpm with the 500gb space. -
