It got an ATI Chipset. Drivers for that can be found at:
    http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html
select Win XP / Integrated Motherboard / Xpress 200m
Should make most things work. Not sure about the sound and Wireless. It says integrated so maybe it works with the chipset drivers too.

All windows XP Driver for the MT3705 be accessed by downloading the drviers for the MX3701 -from http://support.gateway.com/support/drivers/ddaStep.asp?Tab=All1013971R - Gateway MX3701 whch uses the same motherboard as thethe MT3705 and by inference the same onboard devices

Just select what you need from the drop down - Worked for me perfectly. Good Luck

Hey Man I have all the Drivers for the MT3705 Gateway, I had the common issue , downgrading from Vista to Xp and lost all Drivers but at last i recovered my machine performance just like it must, mail me if You want or add me to Messenger, [email protected] and i will give You all the info You need if You still have the same problem,by the way,the sound in this type of Notebook will work properly only by using Headphones. The catalyst i have for the video works perfectly and will help .
C ya!! Hope to know from people who need to fix these kind of problems
If u don`t have time to mail me,here`s the trick.Download the video driver from Gateway support but instead download the video drivers for MX3701 and install it to your MT3705 machine and You`ll see, trust me,Hope to know from You,CIAO Lenin G

MX3702 also shares all drivers with mt3705 you can use diskbootpro and create a dual boot rig . I did this successfully. The machine really hums running xppro much faster and rates much higher on any benchmark I have tried. 200+ points higher overall on pcpitstop.com ny questions just post and I will try to help

Here is the link for those who have the same trouble about downgrading your Gateway MT 3705 from Vista to Xp: http://support.gateway.com/support/...owse&platform=10022&model=11015&os=10406&type

With this... You will go to the MX 3701 model drivers, both machines share the same motherboards and chipset,so they share the same drivers, this is the solution for the GATEWAY MT 3705,hope to keep in touch with the guys from the forum,Glad to help a bit.... Lenintsu

Sorry to bring up an old thread, but it seems you guys have had pretty good luck with this issue, so perhaps you can help me. For whatever reasons the drivers you are saying to use aren't working for me. Do they have to be installed in a certain order, or am I just too challenged in the noodle?
