Tough to say. Please provide us more information please. What re you looking for? Lots of space, speed, SSDs etc? I can say that when I look at harddrives I try to stay with offerings from Hitachi, Seagate and WD. These 3 companies seem to put out good stuff and are very popular.

I'm a Seagate man myself. I ordered a 120 gig drive from Newegg in my old Desktop, it died 2 weeks before finals. I called and was over night shipped, for free, a replacement drive and told to send back the old one as soon as my exams were over. I paid nothing for shipping and got a brand new drive in the process.

I dont' know about the rest of you guys - but I base a lot of my purchases on my own experiences with company. I'll never buy a non-Seagate drive again.

Samsung makes good drives. Have a look at the Samsung HM320JI or Hitachi 5K320. They're pretty fast, cool and quiet.

I recommend you go for a 320GB because they are faster than 250GB drives.

The WD 3200BEVT is the fastest of the 320GB/5400rpm drives but takes a bit more power than average.
